Empower Local Leaders to Transform Communities
In communities across Nepal, Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica, India, and Indonesia, local leaders are workingtirelessly to lift people out of poverty, trauma, and systemic injustice. But they need support to keep going—and to keep growing.
The Community Development Training & Networking Project is a global initiative designed to equip frontline leaders with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to bring lasting transformation to their communities.
The goal of this project is to equip, train and provide networking opportunities for community development workers. At its heart, it aims to empower local leaders to build and train local teams, helping them respond to real needs with practical development programs that restore dignity and bring hope to individuals and local communities. This three-stage project includes:
- Identifying key challenges and training gaps by working directly with community leaders in disadvantaged areas.
- Hosting a 10-day leadership and development conference in Nepal, where delegates receive tailored training, share experiences, and explore culturally relevant strategies
- Providing long-term mentoring, resources, and support networks to ensure the impact continues well beyond the event.
What makes this project unique is its commitment to long-term change. The goal isn’t just to train once—it’s to build lasting networks of support, mentorship, and practical development skills that leaders can take home and multiply in their own communities.
Your donation directly supports:
